Chess Titans is a 3D chess game developed by Oberon Media for Microsoft, which is included with Windows Vista and Windows 7. It was introduced as one of the new premium games included with Home Premium and better editions, alongside Purble Place and Mahjong Titans.
It features extensive photorealistic graphics for the game board and chess pieces which can be rotated in 3D. It was designed in tandem with the design principles of the Windows Aero theme and to showcase the 3D capabilities of Windows Vista. The game can be played with 2 players or against the computer.
