Chess Titans is a premium 3D chess game developed by Oberon Media for Microsoft. It was introduced in Windows Vista as one of the new premium games alongside Purble Place and Mahjong Titans and is also bundled with Windows 7. The goal of the game is to displace all of the opponent's chess pieces in order to win. It can be played with 2 players or against the computer.
It features extensive photorealistic graphics for the game board and chess pieces which can be rotated in 3D. It was designed in tandem with the design principles of the Windows Aero theme and to showcase the 3D capabilities of Windows Vista.
