Windows XP build 2223 is a build of Windows XP. This build identifies itself as "Whistler 2001" in the start menu and login screensaver. It is the last build to include the HAL for the SGI Visual Workstation 320 and 540 (HALBORG.DLL), and is also the last build to support the 486 processor. It is set to hibernate by default, much like Windows Neptune build 5111.1.
It starts to develop more features that would be retained in the final product. Most notably, it contains theming under the file of Business.thx, which can be enabled with a proper uxtheme.exe file. Other additions includes the new sound applet, ClearType text rendering, and an out-of-the-box experience, directly ported from Windows Me.
