Azure Stack HCI build 17784.1068 is the official Public Preview build of Azure Stack HCI, version 20H2, which was released to the public on 21 July 2020.[1] It is the base build for subsequent releases of the original Azure Stack HCI release.
Quirks[edit | edit source]
Server language packs[edit | edit source]
All possible client edition-specific language combinations (excluding English (United States)) were unintentionally released to Windows Update servers in subsequent update releases due to an internal misconfiguration in underlying infrastructure, allowing a user to stage a Windows client edition from the existing source package sets. Server edition-specific language packs for this build therefore do not exist and cannot be installed at all as the wrong package will instead be offered.

Notes[edit | edit source]
- ↑ These SKUs are only available in later update releases of this build's Unified Update Platform source packages, albeit with a missing base edition edition manifest which can be reproduced; they must be manually staged through component-based servicing in order to install and use them.
