Windows Vista build 5728 is a pre-Release Candidate 2 build of Windows Vista, which was released to beta testers on 22 September 2006[1] and to the public the following day in 32-bit, followed by the 64-bit release two days later.
The German and Japanese language versions of this build were originally lost, but were eventually found and uploaded to BetaArchive on 31 December 2020.
With a revision of 16387, winver and System Properties refer to the build as "Service Pack 0 v.3", as it is three more than 16384.
