Windows Vista build 5091 is a pre-Beta 1 build of Windows Vista. Two screenshots from this build were included as part of an internal developer overview for the overall consumer goals of the operating system in two separate slides that demonstrate and outline the new Windows Explorer user interface overhaul. The presentation is included as part of the Microsoft Evangelism Rhythms bonus disc set.[1] This is one of the last builds before Microsoft forked off development into the beta1 branch, which focused on stabilization, while the winmain branch commenced work on Beta 2.
