Windows Server build 18985 is a build of Windows Server, version 2004. It was released on 24 September 2019 to Windows Insiders. The LTSC counterpart of this build (and its ARM64 counterpart), which features the full Desktop Experience feature set, was later publicly shared on 16 November 2024.
- The Application Compatibility Feature-on-Demand (FoD) package can only be installed on a live instance of Windows Server, and cannot be installed offline.
- Hyper-V Generation 2 virtual machines do not function in this build. Only Generation 1 virtual machines function properly.
- Account credentials are not delegated properly across machines and do not properly respect the current state of the "Allow delegating fresh credentials" group policy.
