New features and changes[edit | edit source]

Remote Desktop Session Host[edit | edit source]

The Remove Desktop Session Host role has been re-added in this build after being missing from previous builds.

Bugfixes[edit | edit source]

  • The I/O manager will no longer get into a deadlock due to a thread attempting to acquire an I/O request packet for reserved memory in the page file that has already been acquired by the same thread.
  • The Device performance & health section in Windows Defender Security Center will now correctly display recommendations when opened from a notification in the Action Center.

Bugs[edit | edit source]

  • Active Directory Domain Controllers may not be upgraded correctly by an in-place upgrade unless the NT Directory Service is disabled beforehand.
  • Editing or creating policies for AppLocker can cause the MMC snap-in to crash when generating rules for a packaged app.
  • After upgrading the OS, the AppX database may end up having corrupted entries, which will cause issues with components that use them.
  • The size of a file according to NTFS and a stream control block, and the Cache Manager may become out of sync which will cause a bugcheck if a read operation is attempted out of bounds for the file size that Cache Manager has stored.
