Windows Server 2016 build 10537 is a build of Windows Server 2016, leaked by WZOR on 15 September 2015[1][2]. It is one of the earliest EEAP drops after Technical Preview 3; a relatively minor release, mostly consisting of bug fixes.
Changes from the previous build[edit | edit source]
- Prevented unnecessary application links (e.g.: Desktop) from displaying in the start menu.
- This build contains most of the improvements in the Windows 10 builds, including colored title bars, an updated memory manager, and an updated version of the new context menus first seen in client build 10532.
Bugs[edit | edit source]
- As a side effect of the first entry in the previous section, Settings is not accessible from the start menu. When open, it has a blank title bar and does not show up on the taskbar or in Task View.
- Due to the absence of an XAML renderer in Windows Server, several flyouts in the taskbar do not work.
- Icons for Windows Runtime applications in the DirectUI-based start menu utilize the wrong alignment.
