Windows Server 2003 build 2467 is a build of Windows Server 2003, which was shared by Koptor at OSBetaArchive on 6 August 2006.[1]

Changes[edit | edit source]

  • Redesigned the appearance of the graphical part of setup to be similar to the one seen in later builds of the client counterpart.
  • The kernel font was changed to Lucida Console, replacing the font used in Windows 2000.
  • The alternative AUTOCHK screen (can be invoked by adding /SOS to boot.ini) now uses Windows XP branding, notably with the XP being in red instead of white in later builds.
  • This is the very first build to introduce the Windows Welcome Music, also known as title.wma, however, because the out of box experience is bypassed in server builds, the file goes unused. But it can be found in C:\WINDOWS\system32\oobe\images.
  • Added the A process or thread crucial to system operation has unexpectedly exited or been terminated. (0xF4) bugcheck code, which would later be renamed to CRITICAL_OBJECT_TERMINATION.
