Windows Phone 8 build 10205 is a GDR1 build of Windows Phone 8, which was released to the Windows Update servers as a Delta package for builds 9903 and 9906.[1]
It incorporates many rumored features at the time, such as Messaging improvements, Wi-Fi connectivity fixes and text replies to incoming calls.
New features and changes[edit | edit source]
Calling[edit | edit source]
An option to text a reply to an incoming caller has been added to the incoming call screen. When initiated, the user has the option to send two pre-made messages or a custom message. The user can also manually enter two of their own messages or customize the existing two in the "calls+sms" settings applet.
Messaging[edit | edit source]
Text messages can now be sent to multiple recipients at once and be edited before they are fowarded to another contact. Additionally, unsent messages are now saved as drafts.
An option to mass delete messages has been added. Previously, each message had to be selected one by one to be removable.
Wi-Fi[edit | edit source]
A new option that allows Wi-Fi to be on while the phone's screen is off is now available in the advanced options menu of the Wi-Fi applet.
