Windows NT 3.51 build 944 is the official beta release of Windows NT 3.51 and the only build that was distributed through the Microsoft Developer Network and commonly mislabeled as build 925.[1]

As Windows NT 3.51 was a minor update to version 3.5, not many changes can be observed in this build, the most notable being branding changes, including an updated copyright date in winver.exe, which now reads 1985-1995 instead of 1985–1994.

The floppy disk release of this build only has disks 11-21 available, while the rest are missing.[2]
