Windows Fundamentals for Legacy PCs build 2600.2180 is a build of Windows Fundamentals for Legacy PCs. A single screenshot of this build, which was most likely obtained from someone in the small selected group of customers which tested this operating system since May 2005,[1] was posted by Steven Bink on his blog Bink.nu on 13 June 2006.[2]
Changes[edit | edit source]
- The
winbrand.dll
file still holds the "Windows XP Code Eiger" branding. The same (or related)winbrand.dll
file (5.1.2600.2647 (xpsp.050404-1634)) can be also found in all Windows Embedded for Point of Service builds. - The build already uses the final name, "Fundamentals for Legacy PCs", which was publicly announced on 15 September 2005.[3]
- The build also uses the "Version 2005" rather than "Version 2006" branding, since it was originally planned for general availability in March 2006.[4]
