Windows Embedded Standard 2009 build 1500 (CTP) is the official CTP build of Windows Embedded Standard 2009 based upon Windows XP SP3, which was released on 2 June 2008.[1] Although containing new features compared to Windows XP SP3 such as Internet Explorer 7 and Windows Media Player 11, they are optional and can only be added as additional items when building an image for this operating system.
