Windows 95 build 1111 (RC) is a Release Candidate build of Windows 95 OSR2. It shares its build number with the RTM build, but was compiled earlier on 12 August 1996. One of the differences is in the included documentation (README.TXT, etc.).

║ │ 1. Pkunzip into a temp directory example "pkunzip *.zip d:\temp │ ║

║ │ 5. When its 99% installed, it asks for 3 files- 2 arrow_1 files and │ ║
║ │ CSWin.exe. Hit SKIP for all 3. These are Compuserve files and │ ║
║ │ both CompuServe and AOL packages were removed. If you get a VXD │ ║
║ │ error when loading from DOS, When you reboot it will work fine. │ ║
║ │ 6. To make sure that it updated your system, go to Control Panel │ ║
║ │ and go to system and look at the number. If it says │ ║
║ │ 4.00.950.b or go to dos prompt and type VER if it says 4.00.1111 │ ║
║ │ that means its installed fine and is the updated and the right │ ║

║ │ totally new. The way they work with one and other is much smoother. │ ║
║ │ So less stuff breaks....yah right!! │ ║
