Windows 8 build 8325 is a build of Windows 8. This build is referenced in a WinJS string found within the Windows Store infrastructure.[1][2][3] Multiple screenshots have also been posted to the Chinese website BetaWorld.[4] It was later shared on 23 October 2024 in the form of a damaged x64 Windows Recovery Environment image, localized under the Simplified Chinese language.

Desktop Window Manager[edit | edit source]
A new Desktop Window Manager atlas for the Windows Aero visual style has been introduced in this build, featuring more saturated colorization in composited window frames and distinctly brighter caption buttons, compared to the variant observed in build 8318. It is the final iteration of the glass design observed in the Windows 8 Release Preview before it was ultimately dropped in favor of a consistent flat look across all UI surfaces, a design decision that was planned late into development.

Damaged components[edit | edit source]
The currently available copy of this build's Recovery Environment contains the following damaged components that must be substituted from a later build:

Because of the above issues, it is impossible to boot the build via EFI firmware unless a replacement boot loader is provided. It is also not possible to run servicing stack operations on this build due to damage within the Windows component store.
