New features and changes[edit | edit source]

Setup[edit | edit source]

The Product key section no longer uses a generic product key sticker. Instead, it now uses XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX as text, an example of how a product key would look like.

OOBE[edit | edit source]

  • "Don't want to sign in with a Microsoft account?" has been changed to "Can I sign in without a Microsoft account?".
  • A blank "Please wait" screen with horizontal blur loading dots at the bottom will appear as a placeholder screen post-OOBE setup.

Control Panel[edit | edit source]

The Parental Controls applet was renamed to Family Safety.

First logon animation[edit | edit source]

An early version of the first logon animation has been added.

Accent colors[edit | edit source]

All accent color choices from the RTM are included with this build.

EULA[edit | edit source]

All SKUs except for Prerelease now use a placeholder EULA with the ID of WIN_PH_0. The Prerelease SKU continues to use the Consumer Preview EULA.

System crash[edit | edit source]

The word "computer" in the system crash has been reverted to "PC".
