Windows 8 build 8301 is an unconfirmed build of Windows 8. Several screenshots of this build were uploaded in the BetaWiki Discord server on 6 November 2024.

Setup[edit | edit source]
The Product key section no longer uses a generic product key sticker. Instead, it now uses XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX as text, an example of how a product key would look like.
OOBE[edit | edit source]
A blank "Please wait" screen with horizontal blur loading dots at the bottom will appear as a placeholder screen post-OOBE setup.
Accent colors[edit | edit source]
All accent color choices from the RTM are included.
EULA[edit | edit source]
All SKUs except for Prerelease now use a placeholder EULA with the ID of WIN_PH_0. The Prerelease SKU continues to use the Consumer Preview EULA.
