Windows 8 build 7970 is a build of Windows 8. A partially broken WIM image dump containing the build's Preinstallation Environment in the ARMv7 architecture was originally uploaded to the Internet Archive on 31 March 2024,[1] and was subsequently replaced by a fixed version (with a matching user-mode kernel library) the following day.
The build contains hardware abstraction layer extensions for the NVIDIA Tegra 2 and the Texas Instruments OMAP4 SoC lines.
