Windows 7 build 7231 is a build of Windows 7, which was shared online on 12 June 2009.[1] This is the last build to contain the betta fish wallpaper, before it was replaced by the default wallpaper used in the final version of Windows 7 in the next build. The wallpaper would later make its final appearance in Windows 8 build 7700, and was again superseded by the RTM wallpaper in build 7746.
This build is used as the base for Windows Embedded Standard 7 build 99.
Bugs and quirks[edit | edit source]
- Running Disk Cleanup with administrator privileges causes the application to crash.
