Windows 3.1 build 061b is mentioned in internal Microsoft e-mails from December 1991.[1] It is a recompile of build 061 and thus a Final Beta candidate.

The e-mail describes an issue when upgrading from build 058 to this build. Setup would always cause a general protection fault (GPF) after copying the file WIN386.PS2. It is also revealed this build came on seven 5.25" 1.2MB installation disks.
