Windows 2000 build 2092 is a build of Windows 2000. This build was uploaded to BetaArchive by user marcoguy as a check/debug version on 19 December 2016.

Findings

Several core system utility files from this build can be found in Windows Neptune build 5111.1.

Bugs

• Booting from the CD results in a quick crash.
• When upgrading to this build, the installation of COM+ during setup will fail, giving the message:

Sub-component COM+ raised an exception while processin the OC_COMPLETE_INSTALLATION setup message.

A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed.
Failed to load the library C:\WINNT\System32\colbact.dll'.

Setup will then continue as normal. However, when setup is about to restart, it will complain that COM+'s installation failed. This can safely be ignored however as after setup restarts, you will normally boot in to Windows.
