Bugs and quirks[edit | edit source]
General[edit | edit source]
- Users may be unable to perform an in-place upgrade to this build via Windows Update in builds 26040, 23620 and earlier due to a deadlock that occurs during the initial preparation process.
- The Advanced Boot Options screen in
bootmgr
may be broken and instead boot into the Automatic Repair screen.
Shell[edit | edit source]
- The BSOD screen may not render correctly and appear completely black.
- The spinner animation in boot screen may disappear.
- Text on highlighted items in Microsoft Management Console and some of its snap-ins may have a yellow color.
Copilot[edit | edit source]
- Copilot may run automatically at startup unexpectedly after restarting Windows.
- Voice access and Windows Ink may not work reliably if the undocking experience for Copilot is enabled.
- When Copilot is docked and resized to a large width, it may not always fill the width of the panel. Resizing Copilot to less than half of the width of the screen usually fixes this issue.
Widgets[edit | edit source]
The following issues are applicable if the afementioned new position for the Widgets entry point on left-aligned taskbars are enabled:
- Swipe invocation for the Widgets board and unpinning the Widgets entry point from the taskbar may not work if the taskbar is center-aligned.
- Toggling the Widgets option under Personalization > Taskbar in the Settings app may refresh the taskbar.
- The Widgets board may be incorrectly positioned when Copilot is in side-by-side mode.
