Windows 11 build 22622.575 is a build of Windows 11 2022 Update. It was released to a subset of Windows Insiders in the Beta Channel on 10 August 2022 as the KB5015669 enablement update to build 22621.575 for new features included, which may not be enabled by default and instead be rolled out.

File Explorer[edit | edit source]

The ability to open a folder in a new tab by middle-clicking it in the navigation pane has been added.

Miscellaneous[edit | edit source]

  • The date/time recognition for existing supported locales when using Suggested Actions has been improved.
  • The maximum length limit of the URL has been increased to 8,192 characters.

Bugfixes[edit | edit source]

General[edit | edit source]

  • Fixed an issue causing Photos to crash on launch.
  • Fixed an issue that causes the App-V client service to leak memory when deleting App-V registry nodes.

File Explorer[edit | edit source]

  • Fixed an issue where launching File Explorer when using dark mode would unexpectedly show the body of File Explorer in light mode.
  • Fixed an issue where the left/right arrows in File Explorer were in light mode when using dark mode, causing them to not have enough contrast to show when they were enabled.
  • Fixed an issue where the dividers in the navigation pane were overlapping / drawing too close to text sometimes.
  • Fixed an issue where if users drag and drop a folder into the navigation pane was sometimes unexpectedly putting the folder at the bottom of the list rather than where users had dropped it.
  • Fixed an issue causing UI issues when using F11 to put File Explorer in full screen mode.
  • Fixed an issue where the context menu when right clicking on a tab wasn't being translated.

Fixed an issue where the taskbar overflow flyout wasn't showing up on the correct monitor.

Shell[edit | edit source]

Fixed an issue where Narrator wasn't reading out the "New" text next to the app name in the Open With dialog.

Bugs and quirks[edit | edit source]

General[edit | edit source]

  • SQL Server Management Studio may fail to launch.
  • The audio may stop working in certain cases.
  • Certain domain-joined devices may unexpectedly encounter the "Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service" error after installing this update when attempting to use credentials.
    • Enabling Credential Guard may solve the issue.

File Explorer[edit | edit source]

  • The left-half of the title bar may not be draggable via mouse or touch.
  • The Up button next to the address bar may be misaligned with other buttons.
  • The Home, Documents, Pictures and other folders may duplicate in the navigation pane or appear on the desktop.
  • The color of the search box background may be the opposite color of the current color mode.
  • The Delete key may not work on files.

Shell[edit | edit source]

  • The taskbar may not able to display if File Explorer is maximized and the taskbar is set to auto-hide.
  • The taskbar overflow may be unexpectedly displayed on the opposite side of the screen.
