Windows 11 build 22621 (ni_moment_dxp) is a build of Windows 11 2022 Update. It was showcased during a WinUI Community Call livestream on 18 May 2022, along with Copper build 25117 (rs_wdx_dxp).[1]
The build notably comes from a branch intended for testing a new update servicing scheme internally referred to as Moments, which consist of a limited set of new features shipped to users several times per year; these features are rolled out to a subset of Insiders in the Beta Channel prior to their widespread release. The servicing scheme is reportedly a part of Microsoft's revised development cycle with a new major version of Windows releasing every three years, while the period between two major versions is spanned by frequent feature drops.[2]
