Windows 10 build 19030.1 is the fortieth Insider Preview build of Windows 10 May 2020 Update. This build was released to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring on 22 November 2019.
Changes[edit | edit source]
- Removed the timebomb and watermark.
- General changes, improvements, and bug fixes listed in the official release announcement.
Bugs[edit | edit source]
- The BattlEye anti-cheat software has some incompatibility issues due to changes in the operating system between some Insider Preview builds and certain versions.
- The update process to this build has a chance of hanging for extended periods of time.
- On some configurations, you can't launch Settings outside of launching via the URI (
ms-settings:). - Sometimes after a printer driver is successfully installed from the Optional Updates section, the exact same driver is shown as being available for install.
- When certain external USB 3.0 drives are attached, they stop responding with Start Code 10 or 38.
