Windows 10 build 18356 is the twenty-ninth Insider Preview build of Windows 10 May 2019 Update. This build was released to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring on 12 March 2019, then to Slow Ring users on 15 March 2019.

- Introduced a new phone screen feature in the Your Phone app, along with a new notifications feature.
- Removed the timebomb and watermark.
- The copyright year in
winver
was updated to 2019. - General changes, improvements, and bug fixes listed in the official release announcement.
Bugs[edit | edit source]
- Opening games that use anti-cheat software will trigger a green screen of death.
- Creative X-Fi sound cards do not function properly on this build.
- Some Realtek SD card readers do not function correctly with this build.
- If you use VMware, you won't be able to update to this build from a previous one. It can still be clean installed however.
