Windows 10 build 17134.1 is the official RTM build of Windows 10 April 2018 Update.
Leftovers[edit | edit source]
HomeGroup components[edit | edit source]
The HomeGroup feature that was introduced in Windows 7 was removed with its service no longer being operational. The April 2018 update and up still contain the File Explorer folder and the Control Panel applet, but they are hidden. To open them, use the following commands:
- File Explorer folder:
explorer.exe shell:::{b4fb3f98-c1ea-428d-a78a-d1f5659cba93}
- Control Panel applet:
explorer.exe shell:::{67ca7650-96e6-4fdd-bb43-a8e774f73a57}
The shell locations are still present in builds from the Windows 11 2022 Update. However, when launched, the content would fail to display due to a Couldn't load the page
error, and accessing the File Explorer folder would redirect the user to the Media streaming options.
Language control panel[edit | edit source]
The Language control panel is still present in this build, it's just hidden from the Control Panel. To launch it, use the command explorer.exe shell:::{bf782cc9-5a52-4a17-806c-2a894ffeeac5}
Bugs[edit | edit source]
Just like the Fall Creators Update, in File Explorer, items in the "Tiles" view do not have the proper width with significantly empty space on the left side.[1]
