Windows 10 build 15058 is the twenty-fifth officially released Insider Preview build of Windows 10 Creators Update. This build was released to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring on 14 March 2017, then to Slow Ring users on 17 March 2017.

- Various bug fixes and improvements, which are detailed in the release announcement.
- Removed the timebomb and watermark, only to be re-added again in build 15060.
Bugs[edit | edit source]
- Some machines would fail to update to this build with a
SYSTEM_PTE_MISUSE
BSOD. - Some apps and games can crash due to a misconfiguration of an advertising ID if an account was created in build 15031. To fix this bug, open Registry Editor, navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AdvertisingInfo
and delete theAdvertisingInfo
key. - The restart reminder dialog doesn't pop up to see if a restart is required after downloading an update. Navigate to Settings -> Update & security -> Windows Update and check to see if a restart is required.
- Issues may occur when browsing pages using the F12 developer tools on pages with cross-origin iframes.
- This build cannot be updated from the previous builds on Surface Pro 3 or Surface 3 if an SD card is inserted.
