and related sub-branches) now use production code signing.
Bugfixes[edit | edit source]
Various improvements and bug fixes listed in the official announcement.
Bugs[edit | edit source]
- There's a chance that a notification pop-up that says the build will expire on 15 July will show up, even though the timebomb has been removed.
- If using this build on a machine with a non-US English locale, an error with code
0x80004005
when Developer Mode is enabled may show up. Despite this, the machine is in developer mode and the user can still use Visual Studio to develop UWP apps. In most cases, this means the required components to enable additional debugging features in Visual Studio or the Windows Device Portal could not be installed by the operating system automatically. To fix this, install the package for Windows Developer Mode, reboot and then type the following in Command Prompt as administrator:sc config debugregsvc start=auto
.
