Visual Studio 6.0 build 8056 is a Beta 2 build of Visual Studio 6.0, which was leaked by warez group Legends on 25 March 1998.[1] The group that leaked it completely ripped out FoxPro 6.0, along with parts of other components in order to reduce the size of the application. As a result, it is not recommended to install FoxPro 6.0, C++ and J++ due to constant file missing errors that setup throws out. Internet Explorer 4.01 build 2000.2 is also missing in this build, therefore it is recommended to install a newer version of Internet Explorer 4 in order to install this build.

│ Alright Boys & Girls, here it is, Visual Studio 98 Beta 2, ripped and │
│ cracked and good to go after a few hundred tries:). Big Thanks to Wize │
│ for all his assistance.:) This release is here because of Grad's │
│ stubborn ass not giving up on it. So we all have him to thank for this │
│ one. We had to rip Foxpro, which we'll release separately later. Make │
│ sure you read the install instructions below or else you will fail and │
│ then come msging me and I dont wanna hear it..:P │
│ *NOTE* Despite it's size we ripped it the best we could and left out │
│ Foxpro for an addon, 115 megs is not too bad for 5 programs. :) │
│ It's well worth the download anyways. │

│ Installation Instructions: │
│ THIS REQUIRES IE4. Make sure you have a version newer than 4.72.2000.1 │
│ Run Setup.exe │
│ Choose Custom Installation │
│ Choose VB6, VC6, VJ, Interdev, Sourcesafe and Foxpro (if you have the │
│ FoxPro addon) *NOTE* DO NOT SELECT FOXPRO UNLESS YOU D/L THE ADDON & │
│ UNRAR THAT TO THE APPROPRIATE DIR. │
│ │
│ * Please note that in order for a clean installation you CANNOT │
│ fuck with the options under each of these, use the DEFAULT checks. │
│ │
│ Select the Data Access Options. │
│ │
│ Unselect Everything Else (Enterprise and Toolbox) │
│ │
│ Continue with the installation. It should NOT give you any errors │
│ with missing files, but if you do have one just pick skip. │
│ │
│ After finishing the install you will come to an error with the Java │
│ Package Manager. This is not needed so just pick ok. │
│ │
│ After installing everything, Reboot then apply the cracks to VB6 and │
│ VFP6. │
│ │
