A Microsoft account can now be added to Visual Studio. This syncs all Visual Studio settings on any device containing Visual Studio 2013 or later.
CodeLens[edit | edit source]
Visual Studio 2013 introduces CodeLens References, a way to see which functions or methods are referenced by any line of code.
Notifications[edit | edit source]
Visual Studio 2013 lets the user see incoming notifications in a centralized location. This is used, for example, when an extension needs to be updated or there's a new version of Visual Studio.
Team Explorer[edit | edit source]
Team Explorer now lets the user add or clone Git repositories.
