About Windows XP build 2455[edit source]

You may not realize this, but this "Windows XP build 2455" is a fake. It was created by a person best known as "Rain Ocampo". Tell me, where did you get this from? BTW, the real build 2455 is a server build. BenjiMadden7850 (talk) 21:59, 12 July 2020 (UTC)

I found this screenshots in the Internet. I guessed it was a fake — Preceding unsigned comment added by People (talkcontribs)

i have marked the xp 2455 pics for quick deletion, is that ok? Also, can you provide me with a source for the pics? BenjiMadden7850 (talk) 22:08, 12 July 2020 (UTC)

Well. I will not be able to provide the source... I found them a long time ago — Preceding unsigned comment added by People (talkcontribs)

Please stop moving windows 95 build 818[edit source]

Ok, can you please stop moving windows 95 build 818 to middle eastern betas, it belongs to far-east betas for a reason, the reason why is because it's a chinese build, not an arabic or hebrew one. BenjiMadden7850 (talk) 22:22, 12 July 2020 (UTC)

Sorry :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by People (talkcontribs)

Question about Windows XP build 2600.1078[edit source]

I wanted to ask why you do not want to know anything about him? I just provided a list of damaged files. There are mostly only cursors. There is no other way to restore it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by People (talkcontribs)

one vital file is corrupted:, without this file, it will not install, and a black screen is how far you will get. Read my post on betaarchive detailing my attempt to install this build EDIT: I added a list of corrupt files. See here
BenjiMadden7850 (talk) 23:09, 12 July 2020 (UTC)

Is this a list with the BetaWorld Wiki? I also tried to restore the build using it, but just like you failed. Then I decided to create my complete list. I added one file per assembly until BSOD disappears, and the kernel version does not change. This error indicates that some files are missing for proper installation — Preceding unsigned comment added by People (talkcontribs)

build is unfixable (correct me if i am wrong). And yes the file list is off betaworld BenjiMadden7850 (talk) 23:27, 12 July 2020 (UTC)

Fixable. It's just that not all files are posted there. I ran it. ~90 MB is corrupted (out of ~600). Try using my list :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by People (talkcontribs)

Strange situation with Windows XP build 2442[edit source]

I remembered a funny thing about Windows XP build 2442.

The first information on the BetaWorld Wiki page stated that the leak occurred on 2019-09-29: Then, on 2020-03-12, they completely removed the information about this build, leaving only images Then they said they didn't have this build But 2020-06-02 they updated information about this build, which already says that the leak occurred 2014-12-18

That's the confusion. This confirms that they never had and do not have this build. And those screenshots show a modified Windows XP build 2462 (so, by the way, said the administrator of the site BetaWorld) — Preceding unsigned comment added by People (talkcontribs)

Windows 98 build 2184[edit source]

Why did you remove the information about the Windows 98 build 2184? — Preceding unsigned comment added by People (talkcontribs)

Windows Server 2016 build 14283 (rs1 onecore container hyp)[edit source]

I just tried installing it, as a result: the installer does not see the build editions

Before making changes to articles, I always check everything People (talk) 16:00, 9 August 2020 (UTC)People

how? Did you transfer the affected builds install.wim file (14283 and 14355 (rs1_release) into another build's one (one with an actual setup)? That's probably why its not detecting the editions. I ask this because there's three screenshots on the collection book (little black book icon on the infobox). BenjiMadden7850 (talk) 16:05, 9 August 2020 (UTC)

I don't think the neighboring build won't be able to read the WIM file. And GImageX only works with WIM from Vista and 7 People (talk) 16:08, 9 August 2020 (UTC)People

how did you attempt to install it anyway? (Comment: I havent downloaded it yet, so i cant test it right now) BenjiMadden7850 (talk) 16:10, 9 August 2020 (UTC)

I took install.wim and replaced it in another build

For example: 10.0.14355.1000.rs1_release_prs.160525-1912_amd64fre_server-standard-datacenter_retail_en-us - ISO

10.0.14355.1000.rs1_release_prs.160525-1714_amd64fre_server-datacentercore_oem_en-us [WIM] - WIM — Preceding unsigned comment added by People (talkcontribs)

100% certain you weren't supposed to install these builds by transferring the wim file from the server core sku version (14355_rs1_release) to one that has an actual setup (14355.rs1_release_prs) BenjiMadden7850 (talk) 16:22, 9 August 2020 (UTC)

I don't think that's the problem. It doesn't matter which version of WinPE. Something is wrong with the file itself... People (talk) 16:28, 9 August 2020 (UTC)People

i dont understand why you want to install these builds anyway... there's not really much to see or do in these server core builds. BenjiMadden7850 (talk) 16:31, 9 August 2020 (UTC)

Just for fun People (talk) 16:34, 9 August 2020 (UTC)People

Ok. BenjiMadden7850 (talk) 16:35, 9 August 2020 (UTC)
BTW why not just use dism /apply-image, CBaseOS can be released as a single WIM file so don't expect to use the installer. Also, this build requires hyper-v. CI611 (talk) 23:19, 9 August 2020 (UTC)

What are these weird nagging about me?[edit source]

What is it that I joined to BetaWorld community? Is this some kind of scary and forbidden site? This is the first thing.

Second thing: "Endless editing" is not endless at all, it's just that sometimes I see some errors in articles or update information, which is normal, imagine... Isn't that what page editing exists for? Watch your speech! Or look at yourself first! Thanks! People (talk) 12:21, 26 June 2021 (UTC)

Your behavior[edit source]

This is your last warning: if you continue to add information that is not notable (such as featureless post-RTM update builds of Windows 10), remove information from build pages such as Windows XP build 2276 and add cosmetic edits that do not provide any significant value to their pages whatsoever, you will be permanently blocked from editing on BetaWiki.

As a consequence of your repeated actions, you have been blocked from editing the wiki for six months. Please read the guidelines for more information on how to write and add quality content onto BetaWiki. - pivotman319 (📫) 15:48, 13 October 2022 (UTC)

Lol... you are very strange

1) WinPE can be extracted by yourself without much difficulty;

2) You don't have Windows 10 build 10240.16533. It leaked to BetaWorld today. -> Captainlinux8880 (talk) 21:17, 13 October 2022 (UTC)

I'm already tired of your unreasonable bans, changes to incorrect and removal of pages or screenshots that I did not ask to be removed... Captainlinux8880 (talk) 21:25, 13 October 2022 (UTC)

First, your logic seems to be a bit messed up. The fact you can build a WinPE out of the available copy has nothing to do with BetaWorld's claim to have the original PE, which is what that 2276 thing is about. Also don't forget the wiki is a collaborative effort. You're not the sole person to decide what happens with the pages you contributed. The community consensus is that these pages are not notable. Second, there was apparently a misunderstanding. This was supposed to be a last warning before any ban at all. You have been unblocked, but keep this warning in mind. There will be no further warnings. --Ryuzaki (talk | contribs) 21:33, 13 October 2022 (UTC)

Interesting, first "ban for 6 months", and now you have dramatically changed your point of view? Lol. By the way, I found a contradiction in your own rules, namely:

"Deletion should be always used as a last resort option. If editing can improve the page, then this is the preferred course of action as opposed to deleting the page. Marking a page for deletion due to being "unneeded", "useless", or "unused" are not valid reasons to delete a page unless they meet other deletion criteria."

However, very often I saw how my images were removed from the page (user Pivotman319) with just such a claim... In 2019-2020 you had a wonderful Wiki site, but what you have been doing lately: deleting pages as "unnecessary", deleting screenshots, changing the correct one to the wrong one (10586arm64), the threat of a ban, is very upsetting... Captainlinux8880 (talk) 21:47, 13 October 2022 (UTC)

Nobody is deleting pages as unnecessary. All deletions are the result of community consensus, reached either at Articles for deletion or elsewhere. And as I said, the wiki is a collaborative effort. Most of the time, content has only been removed for being "redundant" or "unnecessary" after consultating this on the wiki or Discord or whatever. Yes, screenshots get removed, because the community consensus is to focus on things that have changed in a build rather than have 10 screenshots of WinPE with apps that haven't changed in 10 years. Not sure what the deal is with 10586, you haven't edited either currently existing page. Anyway, it's one thing to be bold with your edits, but as far as I can see, despite having thousands of edits, you have participated only in a single community discussion, you rarely use edit descriptions to describe your bold edits, and so on. Maybe it's time to stop expecting things will always turn out your way. --Ryuzaki (talk | contribs) 19:08, 14 October 2022 (UTC)
If you don't like the site now, feel free to leave. --Sporb (talk) 22:07, 13 October 2022 (UTC)

if anything, I didn’t want to hurt or offend you in any way, etc. Just if you are talking about my behavior, then don’t forget to look at yours. I calmly expressed to you the claims that I have against you... Captainlinux8880 (talk) 22:11, 13 October 2022 (UTC)

with your logic, you can delete, for example, information about Windows Essential Business Server 2008 R2, because there is no normal information about it anywhere... or delete articles with unleaked WinPE builds, because they "do not represent anything of value" or "they are not needed" (Windows Vista build 6001.16637, Windows Vista build 6001.16461... or what about the suggestion to remove the Windows 8 build 8302 article, because it does not carry absolutely anything worthwhile???...
