Windows CPC is a CorePC-based edition of Windows 11, intended to be the host operating system of the upcoming Windows 365 Link thin client. This version corresponds to the Win4 layer of the Windows componentization effort known as Cupcake, which includes the base operating system plus the required components for the Microsoft Edge browser that provides the shell. Specifically, it's used to display the OOBE and the login prompt for Windows 365 Cloud PCs.[1]
