Ubuntu 20.04 is a Long Term Support version of Ubuntu which was released to the public on 23 April 2020 under the codename "Focal Fossa".

This version introduced a new boot screen. It features a spinner with the Ubuntu logo at the bottom, and an OEM logo in the center (if provided by the UEFI firmware).
