Google goes worse for linking to websites that does not relate to Longhorn at all. It took that hard to find a link to the start page enabler. But I enabled it. On VMware Workstation Pro 15.5, with VMware Tools 15 XPDM drivers. .svg){kind=logo}

Windows Longhorn Build 3706 giving me BSOD in Virtualbox[edit source]
I got an iso of Windows Longhorn Build 3706 from the Windows Vista/Longhorn Collection from the Internet Archive, but when I try running it in virtualbox it get's stuck on "Setup is starting Windows" before giving me a BSOD, I have tried re-downloading the ISO, but the same thing is happening, If anyone could help that would be very appreciative. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 205.167.54.47 (talk • contribs)
- How did you connect hard drive and CD-ROM drive? And did you set the date back to 29/10/2002 as explained in https://betawiki.net/wiki/Draft:Setting_BIOS_date#VirtualBox?
- Otherwise, it's more recommended to use VMware with 6.5-7.0 compatibility mode for Longhorn. -
