cscript[edit source]

Does cairoscript have any relation to Windows Script Host? I would add to the article, but I'm not sure. 85.210.112.98 13:24, 19 July 2020 (UTC)

I remember reading in a PDF from one of the few released as part of trials that CScript was part of Cairo, and it would make more sense for it to be part of it as well given it heavily depends on OLE. I'll try to find back the PDF in question, but to me CSCRIPT is called CairoScript if that's too unconfirmed for now we can always retain CSCRIPT for now Gus33000 (talk) 13:30, 19 July 2020 (UTC)
I've removed the CairoScript reference til we can confirm it with the pdf, that's better for now then. Gus33000 (talk) 13:33, 19 July 2020 (UTC)

Earlier Windows NT 5 builds[edit source]

As per the new files list many of the files have older build numbers. Here is the list

5.00.1510.1

5.00.1513.1

5.0 Build 74 Beta

5.00.1512.1

5.0.0021.0 ( This one I wonder about)

5.00.1511.1

5.00.7494 (I have no clue how this makes sense but it's there) Everytab (talk) 10:05, 24 August 2020 (UTC)

It seems that 5.00.1510 was a major build cause about half the files has that build no. Everytab (talk) 10:11, 24 August 2020 (UTC)

You can tell some of these don't follow the OS version, so they're meaningless.--Overdoze (talk) 10:50, 24 August 2020 (UTC)

But at least should it be as an unconfirmed builds on the Windows 2000 page ?

Everytab (talk) 12:25, 24 August 2020 (UTC)
no. There are file versions. They are meaningless. BenjiMadden7850 (talk) 12:36, 24 August 2020 (UTC)

Oh ok Everytab (talk) 13:09, 24 August 2020 (UTC)

Build 1515 having a Timebomb[edit source]

There is a time bomb in build 1515. I forgot the date it expires but if the date is incorrect Explorer starts spamming messages that it is expired and get a later version of IE and after two hours it BSODs Everytab (talk) 02:13, 7 September 2020 (UTC)

But that's a modified copy of 1515! - — Preceding unsigned comment added by 149.19.33.48 (talkcontribs)
