Splash composer

Heya, I just wanted to talk about the "The Splash composer is completely broken in this build" part. Do we have actual evidence that it is indeed "broken"?

If you compare 16241 with 16212 for example you'll notice that 16241 has the following dll's removed:

tilecontrol.dll starthost.exe tilemigrator.exe startuiwinrthelpers.dll

Which leads me to believe that the "splash composer" isn't actually "broken" but rather missing important files for the start screen? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tourniquet (talk • contribs)

the MobileUI package is present and the dll is too, trying to enable it however will not work, and will cause a black screen, those files have nothing to do with the splash UI itself Mainnn (talk) 12:43, 8 April 2025 (UTC)

Unbootable on certain devices

The page says "By default, this build is not bootable on some devices such as Lumia 930." However, one device isn't enough. A full list of unbootable devices needs to be added. AlmostX (talk) 14:47, 16 April 2025 (UTC)
