Red Star OS 4.0 is an unleaked version of Red Star OS. Development of this version started in at least late 2017. Full network support and service management tools were introduced in pre-release versions of this version in January 2019.
In June and July 2020, South Korea's NKEconomy (NK경제) obtained a copy of Red Star OS 4.0 and have published articles about it.[1][2][3][4]
