openSUSE 13.2

openSUSE 13.2 is a version of openSUSE, released on 4 November 2014. It was codenamed "Harlequin". It shipped with Linux kernel 3.11.6, GNOME 3.10 and KDE 4.11.2. It is the last version to include KDE4.

Last version[edit | edit source]

This is the last version of openSUSE before the openSUSE Project splits up into two distributions, including others like MicroOS and Kubic:

  • openSUSE Leap (stable release: provides one release every year, including security updates)
  • openSUSE Tumbleweed (rolling release: provides new software that updates daily, including a snapshot function which allows users to revert to a previous system state)
