Microsoft Office 98 Macintosh Edition (also known simply as Microsoft Office 98) is a version of Microsoft Office and the Macintosh version of Office 97. It was released on 25 March 1998. This version drops support for Motorola 68k processors. Five service releases were released until 29 November 2002. This is the last version to ship with Outlook, as it was replaced by Entourage in Office 2001. It returned 12½ years later in Office 2011.
