Microsoft Office 2013 build 2703 is a Milestone 2 build of Microsoft Office 2013. This build was leaked on 25 May 2011, with screenshots circulating online since March of that same year.[1][2]

Windows XP and Windows Vista are no longer supported.
User Interface[edit | edit source]
- Aero transparency on the title bar has been disabled for all applications.
- New animations when toggling panes/views have been added.
- Scrolling and selecting text has been made smoother.
- Several pages in the backstage view have been reorganized on the list.
- "Save & Send" has been renamed to "Save As" in the backstage view to several applications.
- The "M1 Commands" tab has been added to the Ribbon.
- The dialog box for adding charts has been redesigned.

Several applications have gained Windows Live Integration.

Outlook[edit | edit source]
- UI elements have been updated to use the Metro design language.
- A new toolbar has been added to the bottom of the screen, which is used for switching between the different views (mail, calendar, contacts, etc).

- Added an option to insert online video and audio files.
- PowerPoint's broadcast feature has been added to Word.
Excel[edit | edit source]
- Temporary filtering options have been added.
- An option to import data via Atom feed has been added.
- The ability to open multiple documents within a single window has been removed.
PowerPoint[edit | edit source]
- Presentations will now be set to 16:9 widescreen by default.
- New templates and transitions have been added.
OneNote[edit | edit source]
The navigation pane has been condensed into a drop-down menu on the section bar.
Access[edit | edit source]
An option to change the format of databases has been added.
Visio[edit | edit source]
Sketch effect can now be added to diagrams.
Picture Manager[edit | edit source]
The Microsoft Office Picture Manager is no longer included.
Bugs and quirks[edit | edit source]
Visual bugs[edit | edit source]
- Several visual bugs are present while navigating throughout the programs.
- Due to the aforementioned bug, color schemes will not be displayed properly.
Miscellaneous[edit | edit source]
- Online based applications and features will not function correctly.
- Office Help will fail to launch due to missing files.
- InfoPath Filler will crash upon launch.
