OS/2 2.00 build 6.605 is a beta build of OS/2 2.0 from September 1991. Michal Necasek, the author of the OS/2 Museum blog, wrote a post about this build in 2017 — when inquired about the disks, they stated that the build was not owned by them and that the owner had disallowed them from disclosing the disks' contents to the general public.[1] The disk images were later uploaded to the Internet Archive by the same person on 20 April 2022, except for the driver disk 3, which is missing. The reason for its (and the previous build) out-of-sequence build number remains unknown.
Bugs[edit | edit source]
When the system is ready to restart for the second time, it prompts to remove the floppy disk from drive A:, even if no disk is inserted.
