Microsoft Plus! XP build 554 is the official RTM build of Microsoft Plus! XP.
System requirements[edit | edit source]
- Windows XP Home Edition or Windows XP Professional.
- 500 MHz CPU such as Intel Pentium/Celeron, AMD K6/Athlon/Duron; 750 MHz or more recommended.
- 64 MB memory; 128 MB or more recommended.
- 300 MB free disk space (depends on selected installation options).
- VGA; SVGA (800×600) or better recommended.
- Graphics card with at least 16 MB memory and 3D acceleration supporting Direct3D 8.0[a] for using the included games, screensavers, and Media Player visualizations.

- Four new themes and Windows Media Player skins: Aquarium, da Vinci, Nature, and Space.These would later appear in Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005.
- Eight new screensavers: Aquarium, Nature, da Vinci, Space, Robot Circus, Sand Pendulum, Mercury Pool, and a "Premium" variant of the My Pictures screensaver.
- Voice Command for Windows Media Player.
- Plus! Personal DJ.
- An MP3 converter.
- A CD label maker.
- Plus! Speaker Enhancement.
- Three 3D visualizations for Windows Media Player: "Oddworld: Munch's Odyssee", "Maxx's Kingdom", and "Plus! Undersea Wonders".
- Three new games: Hyperbowl, Russian Square, and Labyrinth.
- An integrated updater for Plus! itself.
