Mac OS X Server 1.2 v3 is an update build of Mac OS X Server 1.x released on 27 October 2000. It is an extension for G4 systems that run Mac OS X Server 1.2. This version supports newer hardware for G4 systems, such as the G4's Gigabit Ethernet. It also updates the Mac OS version in the installation media to Mac OS 9.0 instead of Mac OS 8.6.
