Mac OS X Server 1.2 v3 is an update build of Mac OS X Server 1.x released on 27 October 2000. This version contains almost no differences from it's predecessor. However, it adds support for the G4 Gigabit Ethernet, allowing for all "graphite" colored PowerMac G4's to run Mac OS X Server. As a result, the installation environment was updated to the version that came with said computer, Mac OS 9.0.4.
