Mac OS 8.6a5c3 (Hammerfest) is an update alpha build of Mac OS 8.6.
Bugs and quirks[edit | edit source]
- When starting setup, Mac OS Install cannot find any install documents by itself. You must specify one to initialise setup.
- The version of AppleScript in this build is the incorrect version.
- Sherlock searches over slower network connections (such as PPP) and may run into timeouts when multiple search sites are chosen.
