macOS Sequoia build 24D5055b is the official Beta 3 release of macOS Sequoia 15.3, which was released to Apple developers and public beta testers on 16 January 2025.[1]

Notification Summaries[edit | edit source]
The following changes have been made in response to complaints regarding the Notification Summaries feature:
- Summaries for apps in the News and Entertainment category have been temporarily disabled.
- Summarized notifications are now shown with italicized text to distinguish them from standard notifications.
- Wording in the Settings app has been updated to clarify that this is a beta feature and that errors are a possibility.
- During setup, the following text has been added: "Summarization may change the meaning of the original headlines. Double check important information."
- Notification Summaries can now be disabled on a per-app basis directly from the Lock Screen.

Apple Intelligence is now enabled automatically for supported devices.
