macOS Sequoia build 24B5055e is the official Beta 5 and Public Beta 2 release of macOS Sequoia 15.1, which was released to Apple developers on 23 September 2024, then to public beta testers on the next day.[1][2]

- Drag and drop support for iPhone Mirroring has been added.[3]
- A new toggle for displaying Writing Tools for Apple Intelligence has been added to the toolbar in the Notes app.
- In the Messages app, a new splash screen has been added to inform the user about Apple Intelligence features.
