macOS Big Sur build 20B29 is the official RTM build of macOS Big Sur 11.0.1 released on 12 November 2020. This build changes the startup chime on 2017 and older Macs to the sound identical to models with the T2 chip (being a slightly deeper pitch).

There is no initial 11.0 version for Intel-based Macs, it jumped directly to this version instead, even though the beta testing phase began with that version number, However, 11.0 (build 20A2411) was pre-installed on ARM-based Macs. Apple advises users with this version to update to 11.0.1.[1]
