macOS Big Sur build 20A5299w is a build of macOS Big Sur. This build is notable for being the first public demonstration of ARM macOS. It was later shipped with the first batch of the Apple silicon-based Developer Transition Kits in late June 2020.[1][2]
However, like in build 20A4299v, the internal version number is still 10.16.
This is the first build of macOS Big Sur to support running iOS apps.[3] It is also the first build of macOS Big Sur to use iBoot to boot the system.
