iOS 18.5 build 22F5042g is the official Beta 1 release of iOS 18.5, which was released to Apple developers on 2 April 2025.[1]

New features and changes[edit | edit source]

  • Contact photos can now be disabled directly from the Mail app. Previously, the option was only available in the Settings app.[2]
  • In the Photos app, the "Delete All" and "Recover All" buttons have been re-added to Recently Deleted. It was previously removed in iOS 18.4 RC.
  • UI tweaks have been made to the AppleCare & Warranty page in the Settings app.
